Unit component inspection
Inspection and analysis of individual areas of a vehicle i.e. structure, body, paintwork, tyres, accessories, etc.
Arbitration
Independent analysis of documents and supporting evidence relating to a disagreement or dispute. Report and opinion provided on the basis of verbal and documented information submitted.
Expert Witness
Full expert witness reports prepared in accordance with CPR rules 35.10.2a/b: and PD35.1.4:
Warranty inspection
Mechanical failure assessments undertaken on behalf of vehicle manufacturers and warranty providers.
General inspection
Inspection and assessment of a car or light commercial vehicle, including all structural, body and mechanical areas.
(Adequate workshop facilities must be provided)
Specific inspection
Inspection of a particular area or component on completion of repairs to verify the standard of workmanship, materials and vehicle operation.
End of contract inspection
Fair wear and tear inspections undertaken upon completion of finance agreement / contract. Inspections are compliant with BVRLA standards and requirements.
Dealer services
General vehicle quality audit, random checks, mystery shop exercises, etc.
Roadworthiness inspection
This inspection is normally undertaken at the request of an insurer to establish the quality of work following major changes to the vehicle i.e. modified power unit, up-rated suspensions, transmissions, etc.
Technical writing
Production of technical material relating to the automotive industry.
